Awards
Awards of the Working Party
Helmut Krämer Award and Memorial Lecture
(1 at Int. Conf.)For distinguished achievements in the science and engineering of electrostatics, developing safe technologies, innovative uses and applications.
International Fellow Award
(approximately 2 at Int. Conf.)For recognition of dedicated service and notable contributions to the advancement of the field of electrostatics as a researcher and teacher.
Young Scientist Award
(approximately 2 at Int. Conf.)For young scientist or engineer (below 35 years) who has delivered an oral or poster presentation of high quality at the International Conference and has made notable contributions in the field of electrostatics.
Procedures for Awards
- List of Awards given by the Working Party has to be accepted.
- Nominations for the following awards can be suggested by any Member of the Working Party: Helmut Krämer Award and Memorial Lecture, International Fellow Award
- Members of the Working Party will be invited to submit candidate nominations for the awards. Nominations have to be sent to the Chairman before, or at the last Working Party Meeting before the International Conference.
- Nominations gathered will be decided during the last Working Party Meeting before the International Conference. A two-thirds (2/3) majority is needed for approval.
- Four (4) month prior to the International Conference the Chairman will inform the Awardees and request acceptance of the award and determination if they will attend the International Conference. Conference information should be sent to the Awardees so that they can begin to make arrangements for attendance.
- Awardees attendance should be forwarded to International Conference Chairman. Conference Chairman will prepare diplomas and local presents for the Awardees.
- Diplomas of the awards will be signed by the Chairman and Secretary of the Working Party and Chairman of the International Conference. Awards will be delivered at the International Conference on an organized ceremony.
- Young Scientist Award will be announced at the beginning of the International Conference. The decision will be taken by Chairman, Secretary and the Members of the Working Party. The final decision has to be fixed just before the closing ceremony.
- For Young Scientist Awardees Diplomas and local presents are prepared by the Chairman of the International Conference.
- Young Scientist Awards will be delivered at the Closing Ceremony of the International Conference.
